Sorentinos' gear
We know there are some people out there as sad as we are about gear and what we use.
So to satisfy some curiosity......here goes the first installment.
We'll plan to have some pictures up in the future for you into guitar-porn. DANNY
- 1962 reissue Fender Stratocaster with Seymour Duncan alnico two pro pickups made in 1992 in Japan
- 1999 Strat made in Corona CA. with Seymour Duncan vintage pickups

I also have a 1963 Strat that stays in my closet and only gets played in the Studio 
- 1979 Tokai Telecaster with EMG pickups
- I am having a custom Fender Jazzmaster type guitar made by Jim Surles now that will have Firebird pickups

- early 80's Gibson J-200
- late 90's Gibson J-45 both have Sunrise Pickups installed.
- 1963 Rickenbacker 450 12 string - birthday present from Steve
- For amps live I mainly use a new Fender Deluxe Reverb 65
- Reissue , I also have been know to play through my 1969 Fender Twin
- Reverb, my 1965 Vox AC30 and a 1950's Kay with a 8" speaker which I use just for studio work oh and I have a Vox Pathfinder.
Also for studio
work I use a Danelectro bass(gift from rob) and a Roland RD250s keyboard. I do have these effects which I have not been using to much lately a Crybaby wha-wha , Boss DM2 delay ,Boss CE5 Chorus ,Ibanez tube screamer from the 80's and a Superfuzz from Voodoo Lab , strings are D'Addario 11's and acoustic strings are D'Addario coated EXP26 and picks of choice are any medium light pick oh and I use Hohner Marine Band harps and Shubb capos. And I still want more stuff! ROB

GUILD
- 1994 JF55-12E - sort of my trademark on records - Guild and Taylor build the best acoustic 12's ever.......and Ralph Towner is a hero of mine.
MARTIN
- 1964 0-16NY with Sunrise pick-up - a real "chick" guitar....and Ian Anderson
- 1970 D-28 with Sunrise pick-up - had since '72 - she don't do Brazilians

- 1995 and 1998 Matchless Chieftain 2x12 combos - Black like my coffee. Sampson is king! one for the US and one for the UK...cuz it weighs a ton.
- 1965 Fender Vibrochamp - my first amp bought with the Jaguar at Angelo's House of Music San Francisco in 1966.
- 1965 Vox AC-4 - good little banger.....
- 1989 Mesa Boogie .22 Calibre - stupid move, I traded two echoplexes and a vintage Fender reverb for this. I needed a small amp and didn't have any money.
- 1963 Fender Bandmaster piggyback - blonde. Always wanted one....
- 2002 Fender Deluxe Reverb 65 reissue for Dan to use in the UK
- Ampeg B-100R for Rob to use in the UK
- 1970's Vox Escort busker and Vox Stage 50. Good if my back is sore or lend to friends
- 1974 Hiwatt Custom 100 stack with EV SROs - Loud as F**k.....fights crime, cures cancer....I wonder if those days will ever come back.
